Asian Pacific Islander Americans for Civic Empowerment (APACE), a 501c4 nonprofit organization, envisions a just America that assures social, economic, and political equity for the diverse Asian American and Pacific Islander community. It works to transform our democracy by politically engaging and empowering the diverse AAPI community, and holding our leaders accountable to progressive values of social, economic, and political justice.

Our Vision

We envision a just, inclusive, and progressive Washington State with racial, political, and economic equity for all people, including AAPIs.

Our Mission

We expand democracy by identifying and removing barriers that prevent AAPIs from full civic engagement. We create pathways that educate and mobilize our diverse communities to take civic action across Washington State.

In each election year APACE supports and endorses candidates with proven track records of standing up for our diverse communities.  We make sure elected officials hear voice and concerns of our community and help get out the vote for candidates who share our values.

Help us register, educate and encourage Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Washington to vote by donating to the APACE. Your gift may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

We rely on volunteers to reach out into our communities to register Asian Pacific Islander (API) citizens in Washington and to encourage them to vote. Help create API voting power by donating as little as three hours of your time.

Civic Engagement

APACE is dedicated to broadening democracy for Asian and Pacific Islanders in Washington State.  We work to bring candidates and ballot measure campaigns to the forefront, and lift the voice of our community ensuring that elected officials hear how policies impact our neighborhoods, communities, and lives. We also holds our elected officials accountable and fights for issues that will positively impact our AAPI communities.
